Before I got into website design, I started a fashion and beauty blog on WordPress. WordPress was pretty much the only website platform that I knew of so that’s what I went with it.
There were so many plugins you had to use in order to customize certain aspects of your website. And because I didn’t know how to code, I really had to depend on the plugins. I soon realized that the more plugins I added, the slower my website became.
I was getting so frustrated trying to get the exact layout I wanted, and ended up settling with a layout that wasn’t what I wanted.
Fast forward a couple of years, I started my branding business. I wanted to add website design as a service, but I didn’t want to spend forever learning to code.
This is when I learned that I didn’t need to know how to code to use Showit! What a sigh of relief!
I also learned that you can literally click on text, graphics, or images and move it around to anywhere on the web page. It was soooo easy! That is the moment I decided I wanted to design websites on Showit and I immediately signed up for a free trial to start playing around and getting familiar with its features.
