As a graphic designer and entrepreneur, it’s a great idea to have multiple streams of income. When you own your own business, you never know what could happen. You may lose clients, you may lose your social media and followers, you just never know. With multiple income streams, you don’t have to depend on only one source of income.
Affiliate marketing is an excellent source of extra income. There’s no limit to how much extra income you can make. When sharing products and services you already use and love, why not make some extra money at the same time?
As you share products as an affiliate, you’re also promoting designers, artists, and other entrepreneurs which enables them to keep creating their products and doing what they love too.
There are many ways to talk about and share products. Writing a blog post, sharing on your social media, and posting on your website/blog are just a few ideas. You can use your referral code as a link, a button, or a banner. Always make sure to disclose when you are using affiliate links though.
Below is a list of some of my favorite affiliate marketing programs for graphic designers, bloggers, and creative entrepreneurs.
Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links, which means I may receive a commission if you click a link and purchase something.
Creative Market is one of my favorite places to find fonts, graphics, mockups, templates, and other design elements. There are so many high-quality products on the website, you’re bound to find ones you love! (I even sell my own products through Creative Market).
Another reason I love Creative Market is that they have free products every week. Each week they are different and can be fonts, graphics, textures, mockups etc.
Below are the freebies available this week. Click to download!

Creative Market has a great affiliate program too! You earn 15% on all new customer orders within 7 days with your referral ID. You can embed their products, use their pre-made banners, or simply use a link. On each product page, your own code will appear, so all you have to do is copy and past it where you want to use it.
I personally promote Creative Market products mostly on my Pinterest account. I have success in promoting my own products on Pinterest, so I figure there’s no better place to promote others as well. And it’s working! Just in the last 7 days, I have had 741 click-throughs! From that, I had 5 products sold from my referral links.
You only need $20 in commissions to withdraw your earnings, which is pretty good compared to other affiliate programs I have seen. You can also use your earning towards products you want to purchase for yourself, which I do often. This referral program is definitely one I will keep on using!
If you’re not familiar with Tailwind, it’s a scheduling tool for Pinterest. I highlight recommend using it to help you schedule out your pins since pinning consistently is very important.
Tailwind’s affiliate marketing program lets you earn 15% commissions with a 90-day cookie window. If you are new to Tailwind and sign up as an affiliate, you can also try Tailwind out for yourself for free.

You can also create different campaigns which let you track the performance of the mediums you use (blog posts, emails, social media, etc.). Campaigns also let you create your own custom referral links.
If you know me, you know I love Canva! Especially Canva Pro! I even wrote a blog post all about why you should upgrade to Pro. Well guess what… they have an affiliate program too!
The affiliate program lets you promote the paid Canva Pro version. The commissions are: “75% of subscription revenue per paying subscription. “
Design Bundles is another place to find great graphics, textures, templates, and more. There are also fonts available on Font Bundles, their sister site.
The commission rate for Design Bundles’ affiliate program is 25% with a 30-day cookie window. Plus, with every user you refer, you will receive 25% off bundle purchases for life.
There you have it! 5 different affiliate marketing programs you can join that are perfect for creative entrepreneurs. Start creating more income streams today!
