It seems like Canva just keeps getting better and better with all the new features! There are also a lot of Canva tips that make creating graphics so much easier and faster!!
I do use Photoshop for some projects but most times I gravitate towards using Canva.
I wanted to share my top 5 tips and tricks for using Canva! These are tips I find myself using every day! So I promise, they are worth the know!

Maybe I’m late to the party, but if you press “T”, a text box comes up! It may not seem like that big of a deal, but it has been saving me so much time! I also love that it brings up a text box with the font you are currently using.
Also, command + shift + k will toggle between uppercase and lowercase, which is also super helpful since I love using ALL CAPS in graphics.
If an element (text/graphic) is behind another, it can be hard to select. But… if you press command + click on the element, it will select it! Hooray!! This tip has been super helpful lately! There have been many times when I got so frustrated because I couldn’t select the element underneath. This has saved me some stress!

If you create product collages (fashion and lifestyle bloggers I’m talking to you), this tip is for YOU! A newer feature of Canva Pro is being able to remove the background in an image. This feature also lets you create cool designs like the ones below that I made with glitter leopard print and polka dots.
When I am creating graphics and use pictures, I like to use colors that are used within the picture. I think it creates a more cohesive-looking graphic. Canva Pro makes this super easy by generating a color palette from the colors in the picture. Let me tell you, this is such a convenient feature!
A fun new feature for Pro users is to animate your graphics! With just the click of a button, you can have a variety of different animation styles. Here is an example below.
