I can tell you right now, I use Canva EVERY single day. Yes, that’s right! Canva is such a user-friendly site, which is one of the main reasons I love it. It’s so easy to navigate around the website and create beautiful designs. One of the main ways I use Canva is to make social media graphics.
Now don’t get me wrong, I still use Photoshop too. It’s just that sometimes you don’t need all the bells and whistles that Photoshop has, and that’s when Canva comes into play. Canva does have a free version which is very convenient since not everyone can afford Photoshop. Canva also has a Pro version with more features!
When I figured out what Canva Pro had to offer, I immediately upgraded! As a graphic designer, those extra features come in VERY handy. Plus, it’s only $12.95 a month or $9.95/month billed yearly, which is very affordable.
I promise you won’t regret upgrading to Canva Pro, and here’s why…

One of the features I use most often is resizing my designs (magic resize). Especially when creating social media graphics, this comes in super handy. If I create a graphic for Instagram, I can easily resize it and make a copy with Facebook dimensions. This saves so much time! All you need to do is resize and/or move around the text/elements, if you need to at all.
You can resize to other pre-created template sizes, or put in your own dimensions.
With Pro, you can easily manage your brand’s fonts, colors, logo, and templates. This is very nice to have, especially when using your brand colors! This way, you don’t have to search the hex code every time. Keep all your designs on-brand with this feature!
Speaking of fonts, you can even upload your own fonts into Canva with the Pro version. You also have access to 500 premium fonts. Lots of options!!
You get access to 20,000+ premium templates. The templates on Canva Pro are super helpful! And there is a template for EVERYTHING. There are templates for logos, social media graphics, cards, certificates, flyers, posters, presentations, infographics, desktop wallpapers, blog banners, resumes….the list goes on and on!

One of my favorite features of Canva Pro is being able to save a design with a transparent background. This comes in very handy for different graphic design projects, especially collages.
You get 100GB of storage to save all your designs and uploads. You can also organize your designs with the option to use folders.
Canva Pro lets you create animations, GIFs, and videos.
Canva lets you have access to lots of different kinds of stock photos to use. When you upgrade to Canva Pro, you can choose from over 2 million free stock photos.

Canva Pro was such a life changer for my business!! Great post!
I got on with Canva pro when they had a free trail going on. I can attest to how wonderful it is. My favorite feature is when I need to use one of my own images and remove the background. O.M.G. It helps so much; and yes, the resizing ability. Who doesn’t love being able to take an image and use it for other purposes?!
